Imagine being able to add Customer Service functionality, configured to the topic of each of your web pages? Sounds tedious, complicated and expensive?
With PSR’s cascading widgets, it’s none of the above. Take a look at one of our Client’s website and you see how they’ve achieved this. You can go even further and customize each widget image to match its associated web page.
The Public can get immediate response to their requests without wading through all of the irrelevant topics. Each request is automatically forwarded to the person in the responsible Department. The requester receives automatic notifications as the status of the request progresses to completion. The system establishes 2 way communication to expedite the Service Request.
Our Clients use our system to interact intelligently with their Constituents, by offering our custom Service Request Management system via their website(s). Typically their Home page (desktop and mobile) will display a custom widget sticker, with an on-click overlay that asks the Requester to select the type of Service Request from a drop down list. The list is configured to contain only the Services offered by the Service Provider, and perhaps those of adjacent Service Providers such as, say, the County, the DOT, perhaps the State. Google Maps is used to provide a geographic location, where required, and attachments such as images, completed forms, etc. can also be quickly added. Once it’s submitted, the Requester stays in touch with the Staff person responsible for resolving the issue, or providing the requested information.
This is great for the front page, but if the Public user wants, for example, to get information or report an issue around Building Permits, they would typically go to that page first. Our widget sticker on that page, might look different, to match the theme for the Building and Planning Department, and the list of available Services would be confined to Building and Planning topics. I think you get the picture (no pun intended). The many possible “child” pages from the Building and Planning page would most likely also contain a matching widget, which we cascade on to all child pages, unless one or more specific pages requires a different, or no widget.
All this can be done with a single line of code, and then as the user goes from page to page our system “morphs-to-match” the url in a simple configuration table. We’re working to save you time, deliver a peerless service, and most of all, provide the best possible Customer Service outcome.
The cascading widgets are, of course, only the tip of the iceberg. Cascading widgets streamline Customer Service, enhance Public satisfaction, raise positive profiles for elected officials, and reduce the cost of Service Delivery.
Associated Service Provider tools include dynamic performance reporting and a comprehensive suite of dashboard-based service request management functions.
